I feel like every project that I’ve been doing, I’ve learned something about myself. It’s like I’ve cracked something, or my vision of myself has gotten wider.
I’d done a few short films before and thought acting was really creative, but when I worked with those guys, I was just like: “Wow!” They had such fun and freedom. They were trying things and stretching themselves. It was so inspiring that I was like: “I definitely want to do this!”
I can’t just settle for anybody. The fact is I’m choosy, but mainly about a man’s character. He has to be interesting, funny and clever. I don’t even mind if he’s not very good-looking.
