I’ve spent a lot of time holding onto things and people that brought me misery because I was afraid of the void that may be there once I let go. I know now my voids were just as illusionary as the fear and insecurities that created them.
I hope you find someone who matches your passion and your efforts. Someone who is mentally and emotionally equipped enough to help build you back up in your time of need.
I am more interested in the woman I aspire to be, as opposed to the things I desire to have. By the time I am her, I’ll already have everything she could possibly want and need.
If your best efforts bring less than desirable results because your mental health is suffering, I hope you know you are still worthy and doing all that you can. You deserve to applaud yourself.
