RACHEL MCADAMSI hadn’t read the Dr. Strange comics growing up.
RACHEL MCADAMSI did get to shadow some amazing brain surgeons, a female brain surgeon in Toronto, another surgeon in London. And then we had a surgeon onset [of Doctor Strange] every day. So and he taught me to do sutures and was practicing on turkey breasts, raw turkey breasts.
RACHEL MCADAMSI would fly around a lot. I would fly around the world.
RACHEL MCADAMSI’m very silly as a person, but quality silliness on-screen has more of an art to it. Harrison Ford, whom I was in Morning Glory with, has mastered that dry funny better than anyone.
RACHEL MCADAMSI loved being a part of [Dr. Strange] it so of course you know I would be more than happy to go forward with it. But you know, who knows.
RACHEL MCADAMSI’m a little funny when it comes to blood and guts and stuff like that.
RACHEL MCADAMSI love vintage clothes. I have a real passion which probably comes from the days of my mum who had this great dress up box that she put all her clothes from the 60s and 70s in – platform shoes and jumpsuits and boots.
RACHEL MCADAMSI think they [Judy Blume comics] are so different from the Dr. Strange ones are so different from the other, from the other comics which is nice.
RACHEL MCADAMSThe physical part of comedy is as hard as a lot of action movies. It scares me, but in a way that I like.
RACHEL MCADAMSI’ve always liked dressing up. And I love a high heel – the higher the better. I just feel funny in flats.
RACHEL MCADAMSI definitely believe that you are drawn to certain things for inexplicable reasons, but in a very powerful way. I don’t know what it is exactly, but I know that things happen kind of miraculously sometimes, and so I’m willing to believe that there’s something pretty magical out there.
RACHEL MCADAMSI loved superhero stuff. So comfortable, I got to wear like orthopedic running shoes every day.
RACHEL MCADAMSI have a certain curiosity for life that drives me and propels me forward.
RACHEL MCADAMSA kiss with anyone, on or off camera, can be intimidating. I’ve been kissing for nearly two decades now, and I’m always convinced I’m not doing it right. Chemistry is so important in a great kiss. You can act your way through anything, but it’s hard with a kiss.
RACHEL MCADAMSYou know when you find a great dress, you’ve gotta hold on to it.
