Feeling sorry for ourselves is the most useless waste of energy on the planet. It does absolutely no good. We can’t let our circumstances or what others do or don’t do control us. We can decide to be happy regardless.
God’s grace will never be available to you to become another person. He created to be you – the best “you” you can be! Forget about trying to be someone else.
Sadly, if we are not confident about our choices, we can easily let other peoples’ comments make us feel guilty and ruin the joy we need to experience in life through doing the little things that mean a lot to us.
It isn’t necessary to trust God when we have full understanding and knowledge of what He is doing on our behalf… Trust is needed in those times when, for whatever reason, we are not hearing from God as clearly as we would like.
If you want to be unhappy, uncomfortable, and insecure, just spend your life trying to do something that is not right for you. It is just like trying to wear shoes that don’t fit.
Most of us have hoped and prayed for something to happen a certain way, but it didn’t. And when this happened, we had a choice to make: to react with offense toward God or to trust Him anyway.
Grace equals ability. God gives us grace to match our call. When we do our own thing, we do it on our own. When we follow His leading, He always supplies the grace and the energy to do what He’s calling us to do.
Come to me all who are weary and heavy burden..” Go to the throne, not the phone. The people on the other end aren’t qualified to fix your problems, they don’t know what they’re doing either!!! ~ -Joyce Meyers
Each time we cooperate with God, we take one more giant step forward. Because when God asks us to change, it means that He always has something better to give us – more freedom, greater joy, and greater blessings.
