Have you ever been bitten by an elephant? How about a mosquito? It’s the little things in life that will bite you. For most of us, it’s the frequent, small and seemingly inconsequential choices that are of grave concern.
Unsuccessful people think about what they don’t want most of the time. They talk about problems, listen to news & gossip, & spend their time blaming circumstances, situations & others.
Lack of consistency is the subtle but great stealer of dreams & desires. The stop & start process is what kills progress & is probably one of the greatest reasons why many don’t achieve their goals & end up living in continuous discontent, frustration & disappointment.
Successful people think about what they want & how they will get it. They are intensely focused on their goals & the information needed to help obtain them. Which person are YOU?
The first step toward change is awareness. If you want to get from where you are to where you want to be, you have to start by becoming aware of the choices that lead you away from your desired destination.
And as long as you’re making choices unconsciously, you can’t consciously choose to change that ineffective behavior and turn it into productive habits.
The words we use don’t matter as much as the emotion behind the words. When we understand this, we have the ability to influence, inspire, persuade and affect others.
