We understand that the world is very complex and that change doesn’t happen overnight. But you’ve now had more than three decades of blah blah blah. How many more do you need?
I think weakness, in a way, can be also needed because we don’t have to be the loudest, we don’t have to take up the most amount of space, and we don’t have to earn the most money… We need to care about each other more.
To protect, restore and rewild the living world is probably the most effective solution we have at hand to fight both the climate- and ecological emergencies.
That we live in a post-truth society today, and that we don’t care, that we have lost empathy. We have stopped caring for each other in a way. We have stopped thinking long-term and sustainable. And that’s something that goes much deeper than just climate crisis deniers.
Sometimes NOT doing things – like just sitting down outside the parliament – speaks much louder than doing things. Just like a whisper sometimes is louder than shouting.
You need to listen to us, us who cannot vote. You need to vote for us, for your children and grandchildren. What we are doing now can soon no longer be undone.
