One thing we can all do to honour the struggle for racial justice in the US is to interrogate, understand and dismantle the racist structures of our own countries.
As women, we all face our own unique challenges, but we stand together on these steps today as a symbol of our determination and our commitment to progress.
It is my belief that there is a greater understanding than ever that women need to be equal participants in our homes, in our societies, in our governments, and in our workplaces.
