Taking action means saying ‘no’ to indifference. If there is a war to be waged, it is the war against the indifference which is eating away at our societies.
The reality is that if we do nothing it will take 75 years, or for me to be nearly a hundred before women can expect to be paid the same as men for the same work.
As women, we all face our own unique challenges, but we stand together on these steps today as a symbol of our determination and our commitment to progress.
