The recent riots in France demonstrate the problem European countries face where second and third generation immigrants still do not consider themselves French, German, or English.
I think we’ll have a bigger conversation first within the Republican Party, then with the American people about what’s the proper role of the federal government.
We’re not racist. We love our fellow man, we think we’re all equal under God’s eyes, we don’t believe we should change the definition of marriage simply because of opinion polls or because of a court that quite frankly isn’t looking at the constitution.
The threat of terrorism is great and with today’s porous borders, someone could bring a biological weapon into our country or sneak a dirty bomb across unmanned portions of our borders.
Every Republican will tell you they are for school choice, shrinking government, cutting the government workforce and getting rid of Common Core. But talk is cheap. Talk is just talk. I haven’t just talked about these things. I’ve actually done these things.
I spent a lot of 2012 going around the country saying that President Obama was the most liberal and most incompetent president in my lifetime ever since Jimmy Carter.
Anybody who spends time off of Louisiana’s shores can recognize that these oysters are not endangered. To classify them as such risks great harm to not only fishermen who make their living collecting oysters in the Gulf, but also to Louisiana’s economy in total.
