Saturday night at my house, I often trot out classic movies and force the urchins to watch them. There is much wailing and gnashing of teeth, but I think it’s important to teach kids about American culture, and films are certainly a big part of it.

Hanks is a good man, and he produced the “John Adams” series as well. He does good work. But I’m more worried about a Tom Hanks when we’re at war against radical Islam than I am against a caricature like Sean Penn. He’s a completely marginalized soul.
Saddam Hussein… I believe is involved with this World Trade Center and Pentagon bombing. I believe that you’re going to find out that money from Iraq flowed in and helped this happen.
I’ve been to Africa three times. All right? You can’t bring Western reasoning into the culture. The same way you can’t bring it into fundamental Islam.
