National socialism is the determination to create a new man. There will no longer exist any individual arbitrary will, nor realms in which the individual belongs to himself. The time of happiness as a private matter is over.
Cruelty impresses, people, want to be afraid of something. They want someone to whom they can submit with a shudder, the masses need that. They need something to dreed.
Is it not a shame to leave the capabilities of a nation at the mercy of citizens who dispose of these capabilities lightly and shamelessly, as if they were playing cards.
